ABF says 52 hazardous substances found in raid on Arncliffe home

Authorities say 52 vials of suspected hazardous substances, including low-level radioactive isotopes, were found at a home in Sydney’s south on Thursday. Authorities including the Australian Border Force (ABF) and specialist crews from Fire and Rescue NSW’s hazmat team raided a home on Kelsey St in Arncliffe about Thursday 9am and remained at the property until about 10.20pm. On Friday, the ABF said officers raided the home after the government agency detected a range of illicit substances being imported through air cargo.
