Martre Coles died from asphyxia and two drugs that slowed his breathing. The investigators did not inform the family and put them under surveillance as Martre’s family members were possible suspects.
Martre Coles’s obituary was posted in several newspapers.

Gay’s second daughter, Alana, who is 9-years-old is also violent and out of control. Alana once stabbed Martre on his shoulder blade, and Denise kept the incident from Maurice, reports Oxygen.

Marte Coles’s Killers, Denise Gay, and LaToya Gay were found guilty of his murder in December 2017. The jury did not reach a verdict on the murder charge, so their court trials were separated, reports NBC 12.

In April 2018, Denise Gay was convicted of first-degree murder, and she was sentenced to life in prison in July 2018. LaToya Gay was convicted of first-degree murder in late 2018, and she received ten years in prison for conspiracy and 20 years in prison for the murder.
